Elastic back

I promised myself I wouldn't buy cheap shoes again because they are always uncomfortable. So I splurged on these gorgeous looking shoes! But the elastic at the back is so tight they are almost unbearable. They are currently stuffed with newspaper amd a chop stick to try and stretch the elastic back. The size is correct. I'm very disappointed
